Hi everyone I'm posting this with permission from Lance. I'm currently restoring a heritage H-575 - a solid wood ES-175 type guitar. I'm in need of a neck and would like to make an offer to anyone who may be interested. I'll describe the neck below, but first I'll describe what I'm offering (and I'm extremely flexible on this). One of the below: - I'm willing to convert any existing non-large website into a standards compliant site. This means your site will load cleaner, faster, and be far more future-safe, as well as becoming extremely easy to add to or redesign once that time comes. I can explain more about that and address any specific questions. - I'm willing to add a database driven CMS to any flash based site. This means you'll go to a password protected interface on your server, write or rewrite your text, then click update. Updating your site text will be EXACTLY like posting to this forum. You type, hit enter, and the site is updated. No hidden trickery. Very cool, fast, and flexible. You'll get a lot of editorial power. - I can spruce up a flash based site you may have. Make it smoother, faster, etc. Cleaner... - I'm willing to develop print work like brochures or whatever. If you're serious, I can send you a pdf of a small book (an advent devotional) I designed for distribution. My second degree is in media production, so if you have other ideas just ask. We can talk about limitations if you have any specific questions. Also check out some quick personal samples here: http://www.languagepool.net/samples What I'm hoping for in return is a completed mahogany neck w/ bolt-on joint and it's heelblock. I don't care AT ALL how you do the joint as long as it's hardware based. I'll send you pictures of the current neck/joint, measurements of the heel/joint area, and send you the physical neck. I just want it to be similar, but it doesn't need to be exact. This neck is a little different than a typical acoustic neck. Think more along the lines of an archtop neck. So, I'm looking for a neck: - neck with non-inlayed ebony headplate (I'd love it to be bound, but that's negotiable) - non-inlayed frettted fretboard (whatever specie you might have) - nut - heelblock This is ALL negotiable! I'd like to be the one who does more work! |

That's a steal of a deal! Making a neck is easy....making a website, well that's a horse of a different color. Gee James, I'm tempted to do it myself! |

James, That is a good offer... only problem I see is how you are going to attach the neck with no soundhole. I sure could use a better website...? |
